Objectives
We envisioned a brand refresh for Maison Galaxy that celebrates its cultural roots and fosters a vibrant community feel, drawing inspiration from the brand’s dedication to its customers and local heritage.
Challenges
Attracting new customers without alienating existing ones, standing out while retaining their unique brand identity, and navigating cultural sensitivities with respect are crucial challenges.

The Foundation
Extensive research unearthed powerful patterns like vibrant Congolese Kuba textiles. The colours, geometric patterns and motifs particularly inspired us. We wove these narratives into Maison Galaxy’s identity, respecting its past while building its future.
The Process
The symbolic logo draws inspiration from Kuba culture, their intricate patterns and colours emanate tales of positivity and trust. Hand-painted signage and murals from Congolese towns fuel the bold lettering. We intentionally selected midnight purple and worthy white to echo the brand’s values such as being relevant and supportive.
